SLEEPING NAKED TORNADO CHASING VIDEO BABY!!

Ridley and I are attempting to make an original/bold/crazy music video of us chasing a tornado while mounted to the roof of a cargo van (for purposes of standing out amongst thousands of other bands and of course this will bring joy to our hearts). We are hiring a drafting engineer to construct the exact measurements of a modified metallic roof rack (with two bars protruding upwards out of it) so a steel fabricator can produce it. The roof rack will extend into the open spaced interior of the cargo van, via several drilled holes in the roof, to provide us with optimal security. Ridley and I will then be wearing full body harness suits which will be clamped/secured to the protruded bars. According to the engineers the mounted roof rack will easily support the weight and force of our bodies thrusting around on top of a moving vehicle (very similar to those videos of people riding on the wings of airplanes via harnessed to a titanium bar).

Video footage will be recorded through 4 individual cameras. We’ll have a tripod Gopro camera mounted onto the hood of the cargo van’s engine (via several sticky pods, www.stickypods.com), which will reveal a head on view of the stunt. Holden will have a 2nd Gopro camera strapped to the front of his helmet, which will reveal a first person view. The third camera view will be shot from a member inside the cargo van from the windows (either a person will be holding the camera or sticky pods). The fourth camera view will be being recorded from another car following the stunt so we can reveal footage of the entire stunt from an outside perspective (3rd person view).

Money funded to the project will be allocated towards the steel fabrication, draft engineering, and partially the cargo van. We truly appreciate every bit of your support. This has sort of been a passion of mine to accomplish for the last 4 months now. Also, being raised in stormy Florida with my brother, who’s a weather guru and has been tornado chasing before, makes us feel slightly at home driving into that energetic, vigorous, and black out cloud band of a severe thunder storm haha!
